How to combine all of your Instant Messaging (IM) accounts into one program

Do you have multiple IM accounts so you can chat with one friend that has AOL and another friend that has Yahoo and yet another friend that has MSN? Are you tired of logging into 3 different programs and having to look at 3 different windows to see who is online? I have been using a great software program called Trillian that solves this problem and it is free!!!

Instructions:
Step 1
Go to the following website to read more about Trillian and make sure your computer meets the basic system requirements: http://www.trillian.cc/learn/
Step 2
Click the download icon at the top of the screen. Click to download Trillian Basic. Click Download Now. Click Save and select the location.
Step3
After the download is complete, open the executable file and begin the installation. Keep all of the installation defaults unless you want to customize anything. The Weather Channel and Ask toolbar are optional. I choose not to install these to keep from having too many programs installed on my computer.
Step4
You will then need to add your IM account information and Trillian will import all of your contacts. You can uncheck the option to connect automatically if you do not want to automatically log into these accounts every time Trillian is opened. Step5
Once this basic setup is completed, you can begin to use Trillian. If needed, you can add additional accounts in the Trillian preferences under Identities and Connections.
